Is this not a plant?!
Red camp was rather…. Boomz plus Shingz altogether. I was tasked to introduce Plant propagation to the secondary school students and the steps for plant propagation by stem cutting.
I figured, How hard could it be?
So as I was watching the students doing their stuff. An anonymous person shot me a question.
Anonymous person said: ' Is this a plant? '
I stood there still, my eyes affixed to their eyes, dumbstruck, wondering whether that was a trick question or not. I had suddenly sense a certain familiarity with Ris Low.
Apparently, her stupidity was contagious so I responded with a HUH?!
I had to have some time to digest what she said and replay it back once again just to be sure of what she said.
So she repeated the question but being a semi-civilized, non-caveman person, I responded accordingly.
“Yeah”
However right after I answered her question, she shot another one,
Anonymous person said: ‘Do you need to water the plant and why do you need to water it? ‘
And for reasons beyond my comprehension at that point, I felt the impulse to slam my head against the table. What kind of dipshit, moronic question is that and what exactly goes through her brain ?! It was like as if half of her brain had suddenly stopped functioning OR perhaps the vacuum in their head was sooo powerful that they need some useless information to stuff it in.
Probably once she is back at home, she will be like,
Uhhh…..I know I’m supposing to water into it, but I cannot remember why I am doing it.
But One does one's best. I have to be professional and answer any question thrown at me be it moronic or profound.
And for strange reasons, I was actually expecting the next person who would ask me ridiculous question was an ape who's Emotional Quotient is so low that the concept of Conversation Rituals eludes him. He's like that poor baby monkey who was raised by humans, so he has no clue how to interact with other monkeys.
