A day back in a familiar school

This past few days, I think I have lost my humour or may be, I didn't had one to begin with! I barely laugh or crack any jokes lately. I am sure its because of the holidays. Sigh~ Oh brother! Oh, I was not referring to you brother haha. Ok lame.
From my previous post, I had actually planned on not going back to my secondary school but for the sake of meeting my old friends, oh well, why not? Funny how people treat teacher's day to thank their teacher but I treat teacher's day as a day to meet up with my old friends.
A lot has changed ever since I graduated. As I walked through the compound of my old school, I was greeted by wall murals which were probably done by school students but it was of primary school students standard. Furthermore, they installed electronic LED signs which was in red and black in colour, counting down the days to O level. Man, if I that was installed in my graduation year, I snuck in secretly at night in school and break it to pieces. I wanted to snap a picture of it but with students all around the vicinity, I rather save the embarrassment.
I was told by my classmate that the event was starting at 8.00am so I thought it would be cool to come in an hour late since I have always been an early bird. Turns out, students weren't even assembled in school hall at the time I came and none of my classmates arrived.
Same thing as always, a song by the same people, a dance routine and etc. Entertaining but to an extent. Ok perhaps it was interesting the least to say.
But all of that was not the best part of all, the people from my school couldn't even recognise who I was. They were like " I didn't recognise you with that long hair " . And furthermore, I kept receiving comments on having my hair being long. I mean, the hair I had during the secondary school wasn't that short in length. It made me feel like I was bald during my secondary school time.
A lot have changed indeed.
